My name is Lorenz and it is my final year at Saint Kentigern. I came to the College two and a half years ago, intending to improve my English, as well as enrolling into the IB Diploma programme which is offered at Saint Kentigern. Despite a few challenges in the beginning, the school offered great support to overcome any difficulties relating to travelling documents and college life.
As an international student, you have the choice between staying at Bruce House, the boarding school of the college, and a host family. I decided to stay at Bruce House and I haven’t regretted my decision since. Living in a boarding house with people of culturally diverse backgrounds has been a great experience that taught me valuable life skills.
Another advantage of living at school is that you can make the most of what the school has to offer. The facilities are exceptional and I would encourage any international student to take part in the sporting life of the College. It is a great way of interacting with new people, making friends and improving your language.
