Parents and Friends
The Parents and Friends Association is very active, working to support friendship amongst parents and past parents, and to support the welfare and activities of the School. The friendly atmosphere at the School is encouraged by events during the course of the year that bring our parents together in social settings.
All parents and past parents of Saint Kentigern Boys’ School are members of the P&F Association after paying a 'once only' subscription that is part of the enrolment fee.
The Committee comprises of more than 20 enthusiastic volunteers and each year a number of these people step down as their children graduate and move on, leaving vacancies. Parents interested in joining are always welcome. The AGM is held in March for formal acceptance on the committee, but other parents who would like to be involved, if only to offer help occasionally are encouraged to make contact.
What we do
The Committee meets at the School approximately 8 times during the course of the year, where our current and future activities are planned and discussed. The Principal or another representative, generally attend each meeting. This is an important opportunity for information sharing and for parents to ask questions about specific issues at the School.
The School P&F Association actively raises funds through special fundraising events that are often really enjoyable family occasions. Invariably these occasions are fun and rewarding for all who join in.
Our funds are used at the discretion of the committee to provide additional equipment or facilities to benefit the students
